Hi everyone, my name is Mariah Haymer, and I’m a student at Michigan State University majoring in Computer Engineering, with a minor in History. This fall, I was offered an incredible opportunity to serve as a Resident Assistant (RA), helping support other students in the MSU community

Due to a combination of family hardship, summer financial strain, and previous tuition balances, I currently don’t have a lot of money to work with for the semester.

I initially applied for emergency aid and hardship loans, but unfortunately, those efforts haven’t been enough to fully cover the gap. That’s why I’m asking for your support.

• Clear my tuition balances and debt

• Afford textbooks and essentials for the school year

• Stay on track to finish my degree

Being at MSU means everything to me. I’m the first in my family to pursue a degree in a field like engineering, and I’ve worked hard to push through every obstacle, academically, financially, emotionally. I’m not giving up now, and with your help, I won’t have to.
