On a recent day, my life changed dramatically when I was run over by a pickup truck. The accident left me with a fractured sacrum, a separated pelvis, significant road rash on the right side of my body, a large gash in my left knee, and a broken left ankle. Because of the severity of my injuries, my ankle was put into a boot rather than a cast, and I am non-weight bearing for 6-12 weeks. The recovery process is expected to take anywhere from six months to a year, and during this time, I won't be able to work.

While insurance will cover some of my medical expenses and time away from work, it won't be enough to cover everything. The funds raised through this campaign will help me manage living expenses and possibly pay for therapy, which will be essential for my recovery.
