Help Mariah Keep Her House, Mortgage in Arrears
Donation protected
Many of you know that my niece Mariah has had many difficulties over the past several years. Briefly, she has lost her husband Tony to cancer, lost her mother, and lost her son's father, all in the past 3 years. She also suffers from a debilitating neurological disorder called Myasthenia Gravis. Mariah is unable to work and has a pending claim for SSD, but the process is long and involved. Mariah had become increasingly isolated over the past few years, she lives in a rural community and although her son Johnny is helping her, he must work to pay her bills and his own (he has started his own family with the birth of his son 6 months ago). Mariah's mental health started to deteriorate about 6 months ago, and recently she had 2 major psychotic episodes. She was hospitalized for over 4 weeks. Because Johnny had to be with her almost constantly, for her own safety, he could not work. Subsequently, mortgage payments, water and garbage, internet, etc, are all past due. I have been able to help keep the electricity on, but the mortgage is in arrears and Mariah is very worried that she will lose her house. We, as a family, have come up with a plan to pay bills on a monthly basis, once the past due amounts are paid up. Please donate if you can to help pay these overdue bills, and/or share this fundraiser. We thank you in advance!
