As most of you already know, in March of 2020 I got COVID two weeks before schools shuttered their doors. At the time, coughs were the qualifying symptom hospitals used to administer the few COVID tests they had. Without a cough, my mystery illness remained unclear, but the body aches, extreme fatigue, and loss of taste and smell persisted.

Three years later, those mysterious symptoms returned, but this time, they didn't go away.
