My car needs to have the transmission valve body replaced and I am trying to raise half of the funds for this nearly $2,000 repair.

This year I decided to work on my financial habits and began working with a financial advisor that is offered through my job... Not even a month passed before I was hit with an $1800 estimate to get the valve body replaced on my transmission. It really discouraged me and my desire to even try to address my personal financial health.

So far this year I have been working hard - both at my fulltime job and my dog sitting side gig - but with the cost of nearly everything rising, it is difficult to get this amount of money together in a short amount of time. If my car becomes undriveable, I will be unable to dog sit as a majority of my gigs are for sitting in the client's home.

I have been trying to save money and baby my car until I can get it fixed, but as of right now the dash on my car has been lit up for close to a month. I have less than $600 saved currently and really would just like some help as I cannot get approved for any loan with an acceptable interest rate that wouldn't put me in more debt that is difficult to climb out of.
