Help Mariah Excel in Music & Medicine

Marie Justice, Mariah's mother: My daughter Mariah is an exceptional young woman. As a child born in Madison she has been the beneficiary of a wide and varied artistic and academic climate since her earliest days. Whether traveling the world bringing violin to remote areas of Peru with her beloved violin teacher, or graduating high school with an associate degree (becoming the first college student in her family while still in high school), Mariah has always strived to make the most of any opportunity that comes her way.
As I write this, she is finishing her freshman year at the University of Wisconsin with straight A’s. In addition to thriving in an advanced academic environment, Mariah has endeavored to continue challenging herself by participating in the second cohort of students from the UW to launch their collegiate career overseas by spending her first year in London.
Between academic scholarships and careful savings, we’ve been able to cover most of the program fees and other costs. We are hoping our loving and supportive “village” can help us close out her tuition bill for this semester and minimize the loans she’ll inevitably need to finish her schooling towards a career in medicine. Please consider donating.
Bonnie Greene, Mariah's music teacher: The rewards of a teaching career are great, and are greatly multiplied when a student like Mariah appears. She has the qualities needed for becoming successful with her studies as well as her future professional life. The oldest of four siblings, Mariah has a real capacity for work and responsibility. She exhibits a remarkable appetite for learning, playing and studying three instruments at an advanced level, a voracious reader, and extremely eager to learn and develop skills.
During my several decades of teaching, Mariah absolutely stands out as an unusually gifted and motivated student. She is an outlier. I am hoping you can join me in helping her on her way with whatever you are able to contribute.
Ann Maria Bell, random adult: I first met Mariah when I helped Bonnie organize a trip to a music festival in Peru for a small group of her students. The most joyous moment for me was watching as the sense of new whole world opened up for Mariah and her friends.
I want Mariah to achieve her dreams and head out into the world without getting buried under a mountain of debt. Please help if you can.
