Help Mariah Fight for Her Life and Be There for Her Little Boy

In March 2023, Mariah received the heartbreaking news that she had stage 2—possibly early stage 3—colorectal cancer. With incredible courage, she began the fight of her life, enduring countless rounds of chemotherapy and five major surgeries over the past year.

Despite her strength and positive spirit, recent scans revealed the cancer has spread—to her liver, distant lymph nodes, and possibly her lungs—making it stage 4. Her doctors have told her there’s little more they can do beyond continued chemotherapy every two weeks, until it stops working.

But Mariah refuses to give up.

Recently, she traveled to California to meet with a doctor who specializes in cutting-edge clinical trials and immunotherapy treatments—therapies that help the body’s own immune system fight cancer. There’s a new clinical trial starting that gives real hope for extending and improving her life.

To participate, Mariah will need to travel to California weekly for the first few weeks, then every two weeks for months afterwards. This means major expenses for travel, lodging, and everyday bills while she focuses on treatment and recovery.

Mariah is also a devoted single mom to her 6-year-old son, Huckston (“Huckleberry”), who is her reason for fighting every day. Our goal is to keep life as stable and “normal” as possible for Huck while his mom bravely faces this next chapter.
