Allow me to post this. I have no choice but to ask for help. I've been crying for many nights, wondering how to survive this battle. Not just for myself but also for my family. If you knew my story, I came here on a fiancé visa 7 years ago, in love, young, innocent, and excited to create a new life in America. However, things didn't go as planned. As much as I want to save my marriage for the sake of my kids, I went into a depressing and abusive relationship. Despite the situation, I work night shifts to provide financial support for my kids because my husband has no stable income, and being violent and abusive doesn't help the situation.

Writing this is difficult, but a point has been reached where asking for help is necessary. The current process of a complex divorce has taken a significant financial toll, knowing I have monthly bills to set aside. What began as a separation has evolved into a legal situation with costs far exceeding what was anticipated.
