Maria Perez is a mother of three young children who has always tried to do everything the right way.

She attended her regular ISAP check-ins, complied with every requirement, and worked hard to provide for her family. Her children have always been her top priority: Zoe, 7 years old; Jorge, 5; and little Liam, just 1 year old.

On February 12th, Maria went to what was supposed to be a routine check-in. She never imagined that day would completely change her life. She was detained.

That same weekend, on February 14th, the family had planned to celebrate Liam's 1st birthday. There were plans, excitement, and small details prepared with love. But the celebration never happened. Instead of balloons and cake, there were tears. Instead of laughter, there was silence and questions no one knew how to answer.

Today, three children are facing the sudden absence of their mother.

Zoe is trying to be strong. Jorge's sadness deepens without his mother. Liam is too young to understand what is happening, but old enough to feel that something is missing.

The family urgently needs support to cover legal fees and rent while they fight to bring Maria back home. They are not asking for luxuries — only for a chance. A chance for these children to hug their mother again.

Se presentaba puntualmente a sus chequeos con ISAP, cumplía con cada requisito y trabajaba duro para mantener a su familia. Su prioridad siempre han sido sus hijos: Zoe, de 7 años; Jorge, de 5; y el pequeño Liam, de apenas 1 añito.

El pasado 12 de febrero, María asistió a lo que debía ser un chequeo rutinario. Nunca imaginó que ese día cambiaría su vida por completo. Fue detenida.

Ese fin de semana, el 14 de febrero, la familia tenía planeado celebrar el primer cumpleaños de Liam. Había ilusión, planes, detalles preparados con amor. Pero esa celebración nunca se llevó a cabo. En lugar de globos y pastel, hubo lágrimas. En lugar de risas, silencio y preguntas que nadie sabía cómo responder.

Hoy, tres niños están enfrentando la ausencia repentina de su mamá.

Zoe intenta ser fuerte. La tristeza de Jorge se aumenta sin su madre. Liam es demasiado pequeño para comprender lo que sucede, pero lo suficiente para sentir que algo falta.
