Hello, my name is Maria. I have severe CPTSD, schizoaffective bipolar type, and mild autism. I can't work and am on disability, but I don’t make enough to support myself each month. My parents are abusive and gave me my CPTSD and other disorders, so I can’t rely on them for support. My fiancé, Jimmy, who took care of me for 8 years and 4 years living together, died in 2024, and his sister stole the inheritance from me and sold his house even though he told everyone he wanted it to go to me. But we weren’t married yet, so it was easily stolen from me. I have been poor and helpless since then. It’s a miracle I was able to find an apartment to live in, but my rent is over 60% of my income when it should be around 30%. Then I have my utilities and other bills to pay as well, and I end up not being able to afford groceries.

Right now, my main problem is paying my rent and why I set up my GoFundMe. I need just $1,000 to pay this month’s rent, and it’s due on the 9th of July 2026. If 10 people could donate $100, I would be able to pay my rent this month and be saved from eviction and going homeless again.
