Help Maria pay her rent after surgery

Hi. My name is Molly and I'm part of Team Maria, helping her get through the challenge of thyroid cancer. Her surgery is scheduled for June 1 at Sloan Kettering. She not only has this surgery to ahead of her, but she may have to undergo chemotherapy afterward.

Then, later in June, she has to have the hernia at the top of her stomach repaired -- again -- so that acid does not leak out of her stomach and up through her esophagus into her mouth and nose, especially at night when she is trying to sleep.

Maria has to go on disability from her job starting this week, and this reduction to 70 percent of her income, means she will not have enough money to cover her rent, food, and other expenses for herself and Gunggy.

Thus, I've started this Go Fund Me for Maria, so that all who love her can contribute a little, or a lot, to help her through this difficult time.
