Hello, my name is Maria Rivera.

For years, I proudly worked as a truck driver, spending long days and nights on the road to provide for my family. I’ve always believed in hard work, resilience, and doing whatever it takes to keep moving forward. But life has thrown me into a storm I never saw coming.

I was forced to take medical leave after undergoing surgery to remove part of my lung, followed by two grueling months of chemotherapy and radiation. As if that weren’t enough, I also have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis — a painful condition that now makes it impossible for me to walk, work, or even complete basic daily tasks.

Recently, the chronic pain became unbearable, and I had to take another medical leave. My body simply couldn’t keep up with the demands of my job or life.

On top of these health battles, I faced a heartbreaking betrayal. My eldest daughter took ownership of my home without my knowledge or consent. I spent a year fighting in court to reclaim what was rightfully mine — and while I won, I’m now burdened with $6,000 in legal fees.

Today, I find myself unable to work, struggling to maintain stability, and facing mounting financial pressure. I’m humbly asking for your support to help me get back on my feet. Every donation — no matter the size — brings me one step closer to healing, recovery, and rebuilding my life.
