Help Maria McLain Recover and Heal

As many of you know, our dear friend Maria McLain has endured an incredibly difficult year. The heartbreaking loss of her daughter last fall brought unimaginable grief and confusion. Since then, Maria has been doing her best to navigate life and determine what comes next.

Over the past months, many of you have asked how you can help. Maria, being a very private person, has understandably found it hard to accept support or know exactly what to ask for. We are so grateful to those who reached out and offered kindness during this time.

Now, more than ever, Maria needs our thoughts and prayers. Last Thursday, she suffered a stroke and was hospitalized. Thankfully, she is now home and recovering.

Her journey, however, is far from over. As part of her continued healing, Maria will be undergoing heart surgery in the coming weeks. Until then, she must be extremely cautious to prevent another stroke.

Due to dietary restrictions, a traditional meal train isn’t ideal. Instead, we would like to provide Maria and her family with a financial gift. This will allow them the flexibility to purchase meals, groceries, or whatever they may need most.
