Help Maria Howard Reclaim Her Life

Hello loves, my name is Maria Howard, also known as The Braiding Chef. I am a Master Hair Care stylist, a wife, a mother, and soon to be a grandmother. I love taking care of my family and others. I love feeding my clients when they come to get their hair done. Y’all know my dream is to have a food truck, restaurant, and salon. But right now, that dream has come to an abrupt halt.

My husband lost his job and was out of work for 4 months and also denied unemployment. So every piece of money I had saved went to paying the bills he couldn’t and taking care of my family. I was also in the midst of planning my daughter’s baby shower, which I was about to cancel. Then I got a loan to assist us in paying additional bills I couldn’t pay on my own. I thought we were catching up till Monday morning. I woke up to go to Paige’s doctor’s appointment and my car was repossessed. Unfortunately, everything is in Cory’s name and he didn’t inform me that he’d gotten behind on my car note. I didn’t want to worry anyone with my problems and it’s hard for me to ask for help. I bust my butt every day for my family, I pay my tithes, I pray, I trust God, but I’m tired, out of money, a car, my daughter is due in 3 weeks, rent is due, and I have nothing. I really just want to give up. It’s hard being the one who needs help when you’re the one who helps everyone. And I feel I’ve let everyone down.
