We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Veronica Arroyo on Friday, February 28th, 2025. We have created this GoFundMe in efforts to help Maria with some of the costs of the funeral arrangements. As many of you might already know, last year around this time another GoFundMe was created to help with the funeral costs of Maria's older brother, Manny.

Veronica just celebrated her 50th birthday on January 14th, but her age was just a number because she truly was a child at heart. She was a special and gentle soul with the mental capacity of a two-year-old. She was known to be nurturing and loving to her baby dolls. She expressed love in her way and at times was known to blow kisses to those she liked. In February 2024, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent surgery. Despite her diagnosis of cancer and chemotherapy treatment, she never lost her spirit and continued to be cheerful with her caretakers, her friends, and her little sister Maria. Her loss is greatly felt; she will be missed.

On behalf of Maria, we are immensely grateful for the support and love that you have demonstrated to Maria through this difficult season. We thank you for your contribution and desire to help in this time. May the Lord bless your giving hearts. In times of loss and tragedy, it is important for us to demonstrate our love, and we are humbled by your support.
