Help Maria replace her belongings due to Fire

My name is Bambi, I am trying to help my mama Maria raise funds to help replace her belongings and find another home as she had lost it all in a house fire that occurred on the 13th July in Balaclava.

It was a normal morning for my mum, she left home at 9ish to run her errands and upon returning home just after lunch to discover her complex surrounded by the Fire brigade and emergency services.

In a complete panic she races inside only to be told she cannot enter as her townhouse has been gutted by fire and all of her possessions and what was her home gone. With only the clothes on her back, my mama is left with absolutely nothing. My mama is only on a Pension benefit and cannot afford to replace anything at all. My mama is not one to ask for help, but I know when she needs it.

She is a beautiful, caring woman who loves so deeply, always bends over backwards and will go out of her way to help others. Her doors were always open and always made sure your belly was full when you left, her home became your home. My babies, and our home away from home is no longer…

I wish I could do more for my mama, but living almost 2hrs away from Cairns all I can do is offer my home, she cant leave as my two little brothers are still at school and can’t turn they’re lives upside down even more. So all I can do is try to seek the help of friends, family and complete strangers to try and help to get her back on her feet and make a new home.

So please if you could spare a few dollars or even donations of house hold goods to help out that’s all it takes to help change a persons life around.
