My name is Maria, and in 2018 I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. Thanks to the generosity of others, I received support through a fundraiser that allowed me to get to my chemo treatments and access alternative natural medicines to help build my immune system. That support was a true blessing and helped me through a difficult year on my cancer journey.
In November 2025, I learned that my cancer had returned as stage 4 metastasis. My greatest wish is to slow the progression of this cancer so I can spend more precious time with my family. I am 69 years young, and my grandchildren mean the world to me. I have another grandchild on the way, and my 21-year-old granddaughter has asked me to be at her dream wedding in a couple of years. Grandchildren are such a blessing, and I want to be there for them as long as possible.
I am committed to fighting this cancer with everything I have. My plan is to start an integrative protocol that combines medical treatments with natural foods, antioxidant supplements, essiac and soursop teas, and other immune-boosting remedies. I also need a juicer to make the most of organic fruits and vegetables, including their antioxidant-rich peels. As a senior on SSI, I cannot do this alone. I need help to stock up on these supplements and fresh organic produce, as well as apricot seeds and other natural supports. If I could do this by myself, I would, but I am reaching out for help from those willing to support me on this journey.
My faith and hope are strong, and I believe God works through people. I have seen so much kindness from others, and I am grateful for any help—whether through prayers or financial support. Thank you for being part of my journey and helping me fight for more time with my loved ones.
