We are trying to save our family Hotel, (Albergo) "Albergo Natucci" located in Montecatini Italy, which is in the Tuscany region. Maria Natucci and her husband Vincenzo have been devastated by Italy's strict Covid shut down. This is our family boutique hotel where Maria and Vincenzo have maintained a tradition of cultural generosity and love through their amazing hospitality.
At the beginning of the 20th century Albergo Natucci was a small guest-house, wherein Amedeo Natucci, its founder, also had a grocery store. Then in 1905 Amedeo emigrated to the US looking for fortune. He worked as builder in the first American railways, which gave him the possibility to save some money for his future plans.
A few years later, Amedeo came back to Italy where he invested his savings in the hotel, enlarging it. After his premature death, Argia, Amedeo’s wife, ran the hotel together with her daughters, Anita and Ilde.
As time passed by, Amedeo’s eldest daughter, Anita, got married and left her sister Ilde running the hotel with Argia. Ilde was seen as the “queen” of Albergo Natucci for many, many years, until 2017, when she died at the age of 98.
At the present, her daughter Maria, now being the third generation, is happily running the family hotel together with her husband Vincenzo, giving every guest the warmth of a long tradition in hospitality."
