Hello everyone, my name is Monica Moscoso and I am helping raise funds for Stephanie Diaz to pay her mom's medical bills. On October 18, 2021 Maria Diaz was spending time with her sister when she suffered a severe headache and vomiting and was rushed to the hospital. Undergoing tests, they found two ruptured brain aneurysm bleeding into the left hemisphere of her brain. She was immediately admitted for emergency surgery, and is now in the ICU.
Maria's 22-year-old daughter, Stephanie, is left in charge to navigate this hardship for the very first time. Stephanie wants to give back to her mom and be able to receive the highest level of care, but unfortunately she cannot shoulder the financial burden of hospital bills alone. We are asking for any donation towards paying these bills down, as it would take a great amount of stress off of Stephanie. Not only does she have to pay hospital bills; she has to be able to pay mortgage and other regular monthly bills in order to not lose her home in the midst of this tragedy. Stephanie been taking care of everything and she needs helps with maintaining her life as well her mom. Please donate so she has a cushion to figure things out while her mom is in rehab.
For all those who knew Maria Diaz, they knew she was a dedicated mother, leader, coworker, and friend. She was selfless, and always gave back to those in her community. She served 25 years in the United States Army (retired), deployed to Kuwait in 2003, having to leave her then 2-year-old daughter behind. She recently retired after years of service at the Veteran’s Administration. She was part of the Winston Park HOA Recreational Committee, Parent and Teachers Association at Winston Park and TERRA Environmental Research Institute, Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida, a regular member of St. Catherine's of Siena Catholic Church, and many more circles that she belonged to. She loves staying active, with long walks around the lake in the mornings, greeting every neighbor she sees on the way. A bright, bright soul who has fallen on times of need. For those of you that would like to follow along with her journey, we will keep this page updated, and as always, any size donation is appreciated.
