My Story

My name is María. I am a mother of three young children, and I am fighting Stage IV cancer. Last year, the standard chemotherapy treatments stopped working and my cancer markers rose from 400 to over 7,500. I was dying.

Then everything changed.

In October, I found a clinic in Germany offering revolutionary immunotherapy treatment, tailored to my disease. In just 6 months, my markers dropped back to under 200. And in the next few months I hope to go into full remission – and then I will only require maintenance treatment for maybe another year.

The treatment is working. It is giving me time. But it is not provided by either the NHS or the Seguridad Social in Spain.

I am asking for help to finish this treatment — and to be here for my children. If you can donate or share, it truly means everything.

Why I need help

My family and I have already given almost everything we can.

We sold our pub in the UK and have spent over €300,000 of our life savings to access this treatment. We are now close to exhausting all our resources.

That is why I am asking for help.

This is not easy for me to do — but I am doing it for my children, for my life, and for the chance to continue.

Mi historia

Me llamo María. Soy madre de tres niños pequeños y lucho contra un cáncer en estadio IV. El año pasado, los tratamientos de quimioterapia convencionales dejaron de funcionar y mis marcadores tumorales subieron de 400 a más de 7500. Me estaba muriendo.

Entonces todo cambió.

En octubre, encontré una clínica en Alemania que ofrecía un tratamiento de inmunoterapia revolucionario, adaptado a mi enfermedad. En solo 6 meses, mis marcadores volvieron a bajar de 200. Y en los próximos meses espero entrar en remisión completa, y entonces solo necesitaré tratamiento de mantenimiento durante quizás un año más.

El tratamiento está funcionando. Me está dando tiempo. Pero no lo cubre ni el Sistema Nacional de Salud ni la Seguridad Social en España.

Les pido ayuda para terminar este tratamiento y poder estar aquí para mis hijos. Si pueden donar o compartir, significaría muchísimo para mí.

¿Por qué necesito ayuda?

Mi familia y yo ya hemos dado casi todo lo que podíamos.

Vendimos nuestro pub en el Reino Unido y hemos gastado más de 300.000 € de nuestros ahorros para acceder a este tratamiento. Ahora estamos a punto de agotar todos nuestros recursos.

Por eso pido ayuda.

No es fácil para mí, pero lo hago por mis hijos, por mi vida y por la posibilidad de seguir adelante.
