Maria Celia Zuniga is my beloved grandmother, and she has been the heart of our family for as long as I can remember. At 87 years old, she recently entered hospice care, and our family is now facing the difficult reality of saying goodbye. Maria has been widowed for more than 30 years, and throughout that time, she has cared for all of us with unwavering love and strength. Her greatest wish is to be laid to rest in Mexico, reunited with my grandfather, where she spent so many cherished years.

We are raising funds to help cover the costs of her funeral and to transport her body to Mexico. This journey is important to our family, as it honors Maria’s lifelong devotion and her final wish to rest beside her husband. The expenses for funeral arrangements and international transportation are significant, and we want to make sure we can give her the farewell she truly deserves.
