If you have ever been to Barbacoa 9th and 9th location then you have met Maria Cano and her husband, Melesio .These two are a team and work so hard to provide for their family.  They are loved by so many patrons of the restaurant, one in particular who is helping with this gofundme campaign.

Maria Cano was diagnosed with a rare aggressive sarcoma.  She has a 12cm tumor in her stomach which cannot be removed due to its location in an artery.  Maria started chemotherapy and her husband takes work off each Thursday to sit with her during the treatment. 

Prior to her illness, Maria worked full time and her husband continues to work two jobs.  Without Maria's paycheck and increasing medical costs, this family is in need of some love and help.
