Hey, I’m Maria and I’m following my dream to become a Life Coach.
One way or another, I’ve always been involved in positions of service to others or causes bigger than me. For the last 15+ years, I have dedicated my work to environmental sustainability and social justice efforts. In that time, I have seen the on-the-ground impacts of this work in the communities who face these challenges everyday. I have also realized what my strongest skills are and how I can maximize them to better serve. With years of experience in my pocket, I am now recommitting my work to serving others as a Life Coach.
I am a big picture thinker which means I am great at zooming out to see the entirety of an issue. I am also keen on observing patterns and connections which helps me clearly see pathways from start to finish. I have super strong analytical skills which help me break down complex ideas into digestible pieces and catch the fine details others may miss. And I have strong intuition which helps me cut through the BS so we can drill down to the ultimate answers. Life coaching allows me to use these skills in a setting fueled by my passions and commitments to social justice by serving black, indigenous and people of color (BIPoC) introverts and highly-sensitive people (HSPs), a community that I very strongly identify with and am best equipped to serve.
As a life coach, I help others find their own answers to some of life's biggest questions and gain the clarity to make their dreams a reality. By helping me build my dream of becoming a Life Coach, you are also helping others build their dreams. Can you think of someone who could use the support of a Life Coach to achieve their dreams? Someone who may be feeling stuck and overwhelmed with lots of ideas or thoughts and needs help to see clearly through the clutter? Someone who has a sense of what the road from A to B could look like but needs some additional support and accountability? Well, now you know someone who can help with exactly that! I’m here and ready to serve...almost.
I’m ready but I can’t do this without YOUR HELP. Everyday, we see donations going to start-up companies for all sorts of ideas and inventions. Today, I am asking for your help to fund my work that is fueled by a demonstrated passion to serve underserved communities. I am asking for your help to fund not only my dreams of becoming a Life Coach but also the dreams of those I will be serving.
In full transparency, my first step on the path to becoming a life coach is to gain the necessary education, certifications, and tools to best serve my clients and community. Donated funds will go towards education and business building expenses such as:
- Life Coaching Certification Program
- Business permits and registrations
- Legal and Accounting services
- Marketing services
The total fundraising request to get me started is $10,000 and anything beyond that I will be donating to StopAAPIHate.org, a coalition and reporting center based in the San Francisco Bay Area amplifying Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) stories and coordinating resources to address the on-going violence in the AAPI community.
I have had the amazing privilege of being supported throughout my career. So many believed in me and helped me grow into the powerhouse I am today. I know I carry the skills, the grit, and the commitment to become a Life Coach and serve the community with integrity. I will keep paying forward with every uplevel I achieve. I know not everyone has the means but if you do, I am now asking you to pay forward by donating here today. Every dollar counts. And if you can’t today, I ask that you share this page with others in your community who may be interested in donating, sharing this page, or receiving coaching support themselves.
