Help Maria and her family survive in Gaza
Donation protected

Hi, I'm Ali from Gaza, Maria's older brother. Like many families too, unfortunately our house was bombed and we were forced to leave our house and move from place to another several times inside Gaza, especially (the stricken north of Gaza). Currently, we are in the city of Rafah, sitting in a small tent whose space is very small for a family consisting of 14 member, including 6 children. My mother suffers from heart disease, poor blood circulation, and osteoporosis, and my father has a pelvic fracture, an old injury whose effects are still present today. The responsibility is all on me these days.
Since the beginning of the war, almost all members of my family have lost their primary, middle, and university education, and some of them have lost their place of work and their source of livelihood. Then, in short, whoever had a certain amount of money - certainly after 155 days of war - will have run out of this amount, especially because prices have risen dramatically and literally it has become difficult to buy the basic things and necessities for life.
Let me tell you about some basic requirements, I mean the requirements of life. You know that the tent we live in does not have a sewage system?

My father wakes up in the middle of the night due to the intense cold inside the tent. He suffers from a herniated disc, and when he feels cold, he can't walk on his feet. My sister Abeer also wakes up, not only from the severe cold, but also from insect bites and stings. She wakes up, and her body turns red.

My sister Ghadeer, who is considered the closest person to Maria most of the time, sits alone and cries. Do you know why? Because she has lost everything, most importantly her project, precious metals industry, that she has worked hard for for many years. Do you know what my mother says to her? She says, "Oh Ghadeer, thank God we are all alive, and that is what matters most. What humiliation, injustice, and oppression are we facing and talking about? We talk about the lack of blankets and sufficient bedding for me and my siblings in this extremely cold weather inside the tent. Let me tell you something else: Do you know that most of my family members contracted cholera due to the poor drinking water, but we were forced to drink it because we needed water, regardless of whether it was good or bad to drink?
I want to wake up from this nightmare.. How? When?
I wish to escape with my family from Gaza, keeping them away from war, but unfortunately, the ticket to staying alive for one person costs $5000.
Help us all to stay alive.
I believe that you can do this.
Your donations will help my family get out of Gaza.

Save Maria and her family.
Please, don't leave us alone and help us get out of Gaza .
