Help Maria and Her Family Rebuild After a House Fire

Life can change in an instant. For my best friend Maria, that moment came when an electrical fire broke out in the home she’s lived in since childhood—the same home where she’s now raising her two children.

Thankfully, the house is still standing. But the fire caused structural damage to the basement and severe smoke damage throughout the rest of the home. Windows need to be replaced. Walls need to be rebuilt. It’s going to be at least six months before it’s safe for her and her kids to move back in. This isn’t just any house. It’s the home Maria grew up in. The home she brought her children home to. It holds generations of memories—and has long been a symbol of strength in her life.

Maria has always been the kind of person who shows up for others. Consistently and with a full heart. Now, we have the opportunity to show up for her.
