Help Maria and Her Daughters Through Cancer Treatment

my name is Maria Gutierrez. I am 29 years old and currently undergoing cancer treatment. I have stage 3 breast cancer HER2+ that affected my lymph nodes & put me into a premenopausal phase. I have two daughters Emma Rose (5) & Sofia Marie (4). Unfortunately even after my 5 rounds of chemotherapy & my surgery to remove my left breast & left lymph nodes I am still needing more chemotherapy, radiation & surgeries before I am cancer free. That means I will be out of work for another year. I have not been able to work since December 6, 2024 & due to how aggressive & advanced my cancer is I still have a long way to go. I thought I could return to work but my doctors & health won’t allow it. So now I am reaching out for any help I can get to help with the cost of medical bills, bills at home & to help with my girls. I am being seen at USC Keck but I live in Bakersfield. I just had surgery at Verdugo Keck & need to keep going back for treatments & physical therapy. Due to my high risk cancer & health I have my doctors out in LA. I just got the letter that my disability runs out in June & due to my legal status I cannot apply for any other help. I would not make this if I did not need help but it’s my last resort to keep me & my kids on our feet for now while I work through trying to get myself back up again.
