Hi! It's me, Mari! The Thespian Therapist!!! I'll jump straight to it, I have a condition called keratoconus, which means the collagen in my eyes is disintegrating, gross. My left eye is significantly worse, but both eyes have progressed to the point where I can't drive at night, or even read my lines sometimes. The condition is not reversible, but my vision can be improved with specialty contact lenses, which of course insurance won't cover. I need to be out of work for a pay period to get surgery to slow the progression, and help covering the lenses which are...$770...PER EYE. I'm asking for money to help me cover the cost of being out of work and help me get back to relatively good vision!
