This is Margrit

Her look is stunning in this year's Stem Cell Collection - a powerclashed johnny-layered-chic that is slaying in the hallways of UCSF Parnassus.

But seriously, this is what's going on:

Margrit beat cancer a couple of years ago. It returned, but now in a different flavor. Not a good flavor. A most pernicious one.

She is in remission currently, but apparently this cancer 'forgets a scarf' at your place. It's gonna be back. So, the fix: they'll be hitting it hard with the brute force of hardcore chemo, followed by the miracle of a Stem Cell Transplant so that she can recover from said chemo.

So off we go to Mordor. As as in every great story, courageous friends are joining us on the odyssey. And we - brave Margrit and her care team - could use all the support you can muster - whether that be in the form of thoughts, prayers, calls, reach outs, and yes - cold hard cash. We love our village, and we feel your love - whatever form it takes and has been taking (rides, phone calls, visits, listening, lunch deliveries, and yes, cash...). You all have been so very supportive through the many medical misadventures of our beloved Margrit.
