I'm starting this fundraiser on behalf of Margot Jay and Rachel Stevens, two dear friends who have chronically struggled with housing instability and are currently at risk of being displaced again.

Margot and Rachel are trans women living paycheck to paycheck in Seattle and struggling to balance everyday living expenses with medical bills, vet bills, and debt that recently entered collections. All of the above plus an imminent rent increase has once again put them in a precarious spot, and any amount of cushion would significantly aid them in figuring out next steps.

Times are obviously beyond rough right now, so any help you can give would be immensely appreciated. Small donations still add up & contribute to momentum, and even just signal boosting is huge, too.
