Help Margot Heal: Support for Surgery and Recovery

For the past year and a half I have been dealing with debilitating spine pain that has left me increasingly unable to work and function. As a result, my partner and I have become very behind on bills and in life.

In early 2024 I was diagnosed with an herniated disc caused by an injury and severe disc degeneration. Currently this herniated disc is crushing spinal nerves and causing serious nerve and muscle pain in my back, legs, and hips. I am struggling greatly with mobility issues. After many failed treatments, my spinal specialist has determined that the best course of action for my recovery is to receive a lumbar diskectomy. This procedure would remove the herniated portion of my discs, alleviating the pressure on the nerve and hopefully allowing it to heal, greatly reducing pain and improving quality of life.

I am struggling and overwhelmed and reaching out to my community, family, and friends in this time of need in the hope that I will be able to make things less stressful and more manageable as I enter the next stage of treatment. Any funds raised through this platform will go directly to keeping us afloat financially while I heal and towards medical bills. Anything received would help tremendously and would allow for me to heal without the increasingly dire financial situation we find ourselves in causing a huge amount of worry.
