Help Margot Fight Leukaemia

On Saturday, 15 August 2026, our beautiful Margot Whinnen’s life changed in a way no five-year-old should ever have to experience.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, Margot was diagnosed with leukaemia at just five years old.

She is the sweetest, kindest little soul, with a personality that lights up every room she walks into. She loves unicorns, sparkles, her family, and playing lacrosse… always with a tutu on, of course.

Margot is funny, loving, full of energy and completely adored by everyone around her. And now, at just five years old, she is facing a battle that no child should ever have to face.

Her parents, Jesse and Nicky, along with her brothers Myles and Logan, have an incredibly difficult time ahead of them.

For Jesse and Nicky, their entire world has suddenly shifted. Their focus now has to be on keeping their little girl safe, getting her through treatment and being there for her every step of the way, while still trying to care for Myles and Logan and navigate the emotional reality that comes with having a child seriously unwell.

We want to give Jesse, Nicky, Myles and Logan the one thing they deserve most right now, the ability to focus entirely on Margot.

But more than anything, this fundraiser is about surrounding a little girl and her family with love, support, and a community that refuses to let them face this alone by giving them a little breathing room during an incredibly frightening time.

And it is about reminding the Whinnen’s that she has an entire army of people cheering her on. Margot has a long road ahead of her, but she is already showing the courage of someone far bigger than her five little years.
And she has a community ready to wrap its arms around her.

If you are able to donate, no amount is too small. Every bit of support helps ease the pressure on the family during the months ahead.

If you aren’t in a position to donate, sharing Margot’s story is just as valuable. You never know who might see it, who might be able to help, or how far one share can reach.

Most importantly, please keep Margot, Jesse, Nicky, Myles and Logan in your thoughts. Please send this little girl all the love, strength and courage you can.

Our beautiful Margot has a big fight ahead of her. But she will never fight it alone. Go Margot. Your whole village is behind you ❤️
