Help Margo Heal: Medical and Family Support
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
As many of you know, our beloved Margo Cook was struck by a car while crossing the road with her dog Mae after a softball game in Greencastle, PA on Friday, April 25, 2025.
Margo, a free spirit with a heart always open to helping others, now needs our support more than ever. She was rushed to Meritus Medical Center where she underwent emergency skull surgery to stop brain bleeding. The following morning, she was transferred to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for additional intensive care and surgery for a severe lower leg crush injury.
Today, April 27, 2025, we celebrate a small but mighty miracle: Margo was successfully extubated and is beginning to recognize her surroundings. However, doctors have also discovered multiple facial fractures, and her journey to recovery is just beginning.
Margo had just recently started a new job at Boonsboro Elementary as support staff, and her husband Jordan works for the Postal Service. Both are active, selfless members of our community who have always been there for others — and now they find themselves facing unimaginable emotional and financial challenges.
With both Margo and Jordan unable to work during her recovery, medical bills and daily living expenses will add up quickly. We are raising funds to help cover:
Hospital stays, surgeries, and specialist care
Ongoing therapy and rehabilitation
Prescription medications
Basic household and childcare expenses
Margo and Jordan are also devoted parents to two wonderful children, Eli and Kylie, who are navigating this difficult time with bravery but need love, support, and stability.
We are so grateful for the progress Margo has made so far — a true testament to the power of faith, prayer, and the incredible strength she carries within her. But this is only the beginning of a very long journey.
Please consider making a donation — no amount is too small — and sharing this page with others. Every prayer, every share, and every dollar will help lighten the load for this beautiful family.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing beside the Cooks with love, hope, and support. God is so good, and with your help, Margo’s story will continue to be one of healing, resilience, and community coming together.
