Help Margo Heal
Donation protected
Our beloved Margo broke both legs in a traumatic accident. She is now facing months of recovery and mounting medical costs. Let’s come together to help her get the care she needs.
My sister, Margo, has always been someone people turn to in times of need. She has spent years showing up for others — quietly, consistently, and with a lot of heart. She’s also been the main caregiver for our aging mother, doing it all with grace and grit.
Now, she needs us.
While dog-sitting for a friend, in Los Angeles, Margo was seriously injured when the dog unexpectedly lunged and pulled her down hard. The fall broke both of her legs — an incredibly painful and traumatic injury that has landed her in the hospital and changed the course of her life for the next several months. She is now facing a long road to recovery.
Margo will need to stay in a skilled nursing facility for at least two months, followed by intensive physical therapy. She is doing everything she can to stay strong and focus on healing, but the costs — medical bills, rehab, living expenses — are overwhelming. Her health insurance only covers a fraction of this.
We’re raising funds to help cover some big and immediate costs: skilled nursing care, which runs $400/day or more, physical therapy, mobility aids, transportation to appointments, medical equipment, and other living costs while she can’t work or move independently.
The goal is $25,000 — every bit will go directly toward getting Margo the care and support she needs to heal and rebuild.
If you know Margo, you know she’s never been one to ask for help — but she’s been there for so many of us. Let’s show up for her now, in whatever way we can.
These are difficult time for many, so whether you can give a little, a lot, or simply share this with someone who knows her — it all makes a difference.
Thank you for being part of her circle.
