Help Save Margo’s Life

Update 4/24: Currently Margo is on the rise. Her lymph nodes are no longer swollen, her platelets are high and her red blood cells are as well. However, her white blood cells still remain high so she is still fighting something. We are also still waiting on WSU to get back to us with Margo’s diagnosis (Salmon Poisoning or Lymphoma) but definitely hoping good news is coming our way (not Lymphoma).

Update 4/21: Margo’s Platelets have continued to drop, white blood cells have gone up and her lymph nodes stay extremely swollen. At this point it is life or death for Margo. We are considering moving her over to WSU Veterinary Hospital in Pullman Washington. She is currently at Viking Veterinary Hospital in Moscow Idaho under the name Margo Elliott.

Update 4/20: Vet has reached out to say there is the potential that it is Lymphoma, although there is a chance that it isn’t. Still, all the more reason for her to get help.

Margo is a brave and resilient dog who, in her five years of life, has been to the highest of mountains and seen more beauty in this world than most humans have. She has a thirst for adventure and a love for her people that runs so deep that anyone who meets her instantly falls in love. Her companionship is unmatched; she is gentle and kind and gives the best snuggles.

Unfortunately, Margo has been hit with a severe case of salmon poisoning, and while we may have caught it early on, it’s unclear whether or not she will make it without hospitalization. I am begging the public for help to pay for her hospitalization, which at the bare minimum comes out to $2000 for every 24 hours, not including the treatments themselves. Please help save our family member—I don’t know what I would do without her.
