Hey friends!!

My roommate recently got a long distance job, and has informed me that she will be moving out of the apartment we share. Yay!

However, I am currently three years into a seven year eviction on my record, which means I am automatically rejected from any apartment I apply to, anywhere. This means I have to live under someone else’s lease in order to stay housed. Not yay!

I am raising money to help pay off a communicated rent deficit that my partner currently has, so that I can put forward a measure of good faith to be able to move in with him. If I pay his missing rent in full before I move in, it would make it easier for me to start paying my share of the rent on time, and keep us both afloat.

My main concern is my 12 year old dog that I’ve had since she was born, Kokomo. I refuse to give her up after we’ve spent a lifetime together. She has some long-term medical issues, and while I have lived in my car with her before and will gladly do so again, I really want her to have a roof over her head so that she is comfortable in her disease.

I would appreciate any and all interaction with this cause. 100% of donations will be used towards the rent deficit.
