I am starting this Go Fund Me for my sweet mother Margaret Ybarra. I'm her son Ronn Ybarra. Everyone calls her Margie. Margie was born on July 16, 1927. She’ll be 93 years old this July 16, 2020. Mom is the Sweetest and kindest person you’ll ever know. She never complains and is always in good spirits. Even when she is in pain she won’t complain, but you can see it sometimes in her expressions. You have to ask her how she is feeling in order to get her to tell you how she is feeling. She is a real trooper.
Margie married my father Felix Ybarra on September 20, 1947. They worked hard to provide us kids a secure and happy home life. Dad passed away 5 years ago on July 28, 2015. We miss him very much. If my father Felix were still with us, they would be celebrating 73 years of marriage this coming September 20, 2020.
In February of 2016 Margie broke her right hip and had surgery to repair an upper Femoral Neck fracture. She has a titanium rod and ball in her right upper femur. She can no longer walk and is in a wheelchair during the day. She needs someone to watch her carefully because she forgets that she can’t walk and will try to get up out of her wheelchair and try to walk. Or she’ll try to get out of bed and try to walk and will fall. As a result of her falling, Mom had a few visits to hospital emergency room. Fortunately, she did not have any serious injury. You see, Margie has dementia and needs 24-hour care. My father’s retirement funds, and the sale of their house, has been paying for Margie’s medical and assisted living expenses. Margie will very soon run out of funds to pay for her medical and assisted living care. She has about four months remaining in funds after June 2020. That is why I am asking you, out of the kindness of your heart, to help Margie so she can continue to get the care that she needs. During this time of the COVID-19 Pandemic it would be such a great blessing to keep Margie in a safe and healthy facility. God Bless you all for your kindness. Margie and I will be forever be grateful for any support that you can give.
