Hi everyone,

My name is Kierah, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my Mom - Margie.

A few weeks ago, our world was rocked when she was diagnosed with aggressive small cell lung cancer. She thought she had a case of laryngitis, only to find out within a week that it is an aggressive cancer.

She has had tests, scans, hospital visits, chemo and radiation already.. radiation is twice a day until December 23rd. Chemo is 3 days in a row, every 3 weeks.

Devastatingly, her hair has begun to fall out.. which is difficult for anyone but especially for my Mom.

Her diagnosis has come with medical expenses, including specialist visits, treatments, medications, and the costs of traveling to and from appointments. On top of that, she has been unable to work (she's awaiting short term disability), and our family is doing everything we can to make sure she has what she needs to focus fully on her fight.

We are hoping to raise funds to help cover:

Medical bills and treatment costs

Transportation to appointments

Medications and supportive care

Household expenses during this time
