Margie is currently facing a severe and urgent medical crisis involving her eyes. Her retina is in the final stages before full detachment, and without immediate surgery, she is at risk of losing her vision permanently. The thought of losing her sight in the near future is devastating—not just for her, but for everyone who knows and loves her.
Despite faithfully paying for insurance, her surgery has been denied, leaving her in an incredibly difficult and unfair situation. Now, she needs the support of her community more than ever.
Anyone who knows Margie knows her heart. She has spent her life serving others—whether through her time with the volunteer fire department or her work as a correctional officer, always showing up for her community with pride and purpose. She has given so much of herself to help others, never asking for anything in return.
Her children and grandchildren are her world, and she wants nothing more than to continue watching them grow and to be part of their future. The possibility of losing that ability is something no one should have to face alone.
Margie has been like a second mother to me, and it’s incredibly hard to watch her go through this. She has touched so many lives with her kindness, strength, and selflessness.
If you feel led to give, any donation—big or small—will go directly toward helping her get the surgery she urgently needs. And if you’re unable to donate, sharing this post can make a meaningful difference.
Let’s come together for Margie, just like she has always been there for others.
Thank you all for your love, support, and prayers.
