Help Margie and Grandchildren After Lisa's Loss

My name is Margie and I recently lost my daughter, Lisa, to a long battle with scleroderma, heart, and lung disease. She died suddenly on the way to the hospital in the ambulance; we never got a chance to say goodbye. She suffered a lot. She was 57. I only had 2 children, Lisa and Robert (he died in a car accident 30 years ago). I am a widow and now I am taking care of my grandchildren, Elizabeth, 14, and Jaimito, 15. I am 78 and I have health issues also and need help at times. The children's dad is here too, but I do most of the care and my daughter used to do it before also.

We trust in God and we know we are cared for by Him. We need help with burial expenses and placing some funds for the children's schooling needs and other expenses. I am on social security.

Suffering is part of us who believe in God. But it is a very sad time, especially for my grandchildren. I am their emotional support and I'm trying to be strong for everyone. But it is too much at times. Jaimito is shutting himself down and just spends all day in his room. Elizabeth used to sit with Lisa in the living room and spend time with her; now she sits there crying and I am trying to console her.

We are coming to you for help because I know that God works through people.
