Hi friends and family, my name is Margaret Redd and I’m raising funds for repairs needed to our family's homes in Jamaica. As most of you know, the devastation from Hurricane Melissa has affected so many families in Jamaica. The Black River and Treasure Beach area had some of the worst damages.

We are just getting in touch with some of our family members, friends and neighbors because there was no phone service and they sustained great damages to their homes. Some lost their complete roof and we would appreciate your help to assist them to start rebuild their homes as well.

We are asking for your help to rebuild not just her house, but a piece of Treasure Beach’s spirit. Funds raised will go directly toward:

• Replacing the damaged roof and windows. We are hoping to do a slab concrete roof instead of zinc to avoid future damage with hurricanes.

• Cleaning and repairing flood damage inside the home

• Restoring the yard and outdoor space that brought joy to so many each holiday season

• Replacing essential items lost to the storm

• Helping our family and neighbors in need
