At approximately 7:15 pm on April 18, 2026, our house that we built in 2018 on top of a mountain caught on fire. We still don’t know what happened or how, but in just minutes, our home was completely engulfed in flames and destroyed. My husband, our two little fur babies, and I escaped with only the clothes on our backs. We didn’t have time to grab a purse, money, checks, or credit cards. Neither of us could get any important IDs, credit, or debit cards. I didn’t even have shoes. We are praying that insurance will help us, but right now, we are basically homeless and have no clothes or essentials. We’ve also been told that we’ll have to pay out of pocket for prescriptions due to recent coverage issues. At this moment, we’re at a loss and are trying to begin a process we know nothing about.

The money raised will go directly to immediate needs like clothing, shoes, medicines, dog food, and food for ourselves. These essentials will help us get through the first days and weeks as we try to rebuild and recover from this devastating loss. Any prayers, help, or support you can give is greatly appreciated.
