Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

Myself (Ashleigh) and Kristen, the two daughters of Margaret, are reaching out to ask for your support for an incredible woman, our mother Margaret Rodriguez-Bertz — a devoted wife, loving mother, sister, cherished Godmother, mother-in-law, and beloved friend to so many.

Margaret has spent her entire life in Ann Arbor, Michigan, giving her heart and time to the community. Every year, she volunteered with Toys for Tots, spreading joy and hope to families during the holidays. Her kindness and generosity have touched countless lives.

In January, Margaret’s world changed forever. Thanks to the quick thinking of her eldest daughter, Kristen, who recognized signs of a stroke, Margaret was rushed to the hospital. There, doctors delivered heartbreaking news: Margaret had Glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer.

Throughout this journey, Margaret has been surrounded by the love of her husband, John; her daughters, Kristen and Ashleigh; her son-in-law Christopher; and her many family members and friends.

We are now asking for your help to ease the financial burden on Margaret’s family during this difficult time. Funds raised will go toward medical expenses, treatments, and ensuring Margaret receives the best possible end-of-life care — care that reflects the dignity, compassion, and love she has shown to so many.
