Help Maren Wrestle For Team USA!

Hello! My name is Maren Anderson, and I’m from Tinley Park, Illinois. Recently, I competed in the 2022 Beach Wrestling National Championships where I qualified to represent Team USA at the 2022 World Championships in Constanta, Romania this September! I also have the opportunity to compete in the rest of the European Tour :)

 

I currently attend North Central College, where I study Studio Art and compete on the women’s wrestling and lacrosse teams. I first learned to wrestle in my first year of high school, and instantly fell in love with the sport and the people it has introduced me to. Since then, I’ve wrestled my way through many tournaments like IWCOA Girls State where I placed fourth, and most recently the 2022 Beach Wrestling National Championships where I placed second. I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to join Team USA and compete in Greece and Romania!

 

Any donations, large or small, can help make this trip possible and would be greatly appreciated! Your donations will help pay for international flights to Greece and Romania, tournament registration, as well as room and board. In addition to this fundraiser, I will continue to work at Lovisa America to help afford the costs of training and competing.
