Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, our family has faced numerous challenges over the years, and we are reaching out now with heavy hearts to ask for your support as our dad, Mardy, begins his battle with pancreatic cancer.

On Thursday, November 28th, Mardy and Marty, or Mom and Dad as we lovingly call them, received the devastating news of his diagnosis. While cancer is unfortunately not new to our family, as mom has already triumphed over it twice, this new challenge is still incredibly overwhelming.

Mardy has lost more than 40 pounds over the past few months, and his health has deteriorated significantly, with jaundice causing his skin and eyes to turn yellow. He urgently needs surgery to address this. Additionally, he is awaiting a PET scan and biopsy to determine the extent of the cancer and the treatment options that lie ahead.

The greatest obstacle my parents are facing right now is a lack of healthcare coverage. Due to an accident years ago has left him with long-term health challenges, and as he is now in his 70s, it has become difficult for him to work. His pension is not enough to cover the mounting medical expenses they are now facing.

We are asking for your help in covering the costs of his tests, surgeries, and ongoing treatments. Any support you can offer, whether it’s a donation, a kind word, or even sharing this message, would mean the world to us. Our goal is to keep Mom and Dad together for as long as possible during this difficult time.
