Help Marcus now: Facing a critical medical emergency!

Donation protected
Marcos, an 18-year-old with a radiant spirit that has touched many lives, now faces an unexpected medical journey. Let's rally together, united in compassion and faith, to lift him and his family through our support and generosity.

While Marcos is receiving crucial medical care, the financial realities of intensive treatment in Belize present a significant hurdle for his loving family. Your support can help ease this burden and allow them to focus entirely on Marcos' recovery.

Meet Marcos Aurelio Cerpa, or "Markitos" as he's known and loved. He's a hardworking 18-year-old who always has a big smile and always eager to help his dad with a dream of running a trucking busnisses together. Marcos can often be found listening to music and takes pride in caring for his F-150 truck. Unlike many his age, he doesn’t drink or smoke and prefers spending time with his family and helping out the San Pedro community. He loves his sisters Serenity and Juliet, and his brother Maximillian, whom he enjoys teaching new things. To his many friends, Marcos is simply a great guy, and they, along with his family, are deeply worried. He is truly loved by so many on the island – a cherished nephew, son, brother, and friend.

Tragically, Marcos fell, hitting the right side of his head. His father, a trained emergency medical responder, immediately recognized the severity of the head injury and arranged for an air evacuation to the hospital, where Marcos is now in the adult intensive care unit receiving treatment.

The medical bills for his medication, tests, CT scans, and hospital stay are rapidly increasing. The family believes in the goodwill of God and hope that this appeal will touch the hearts of many who can help alleviate this financial burden. Marcos is a fun-loving young man, and with your kindness and by the grace of God, we believe we can overcome these expenses.

As a friend of Marcos' uncle, deeply moved by this situation and knowing what a wonderful and faithful family they are, I am helping to organize this fundraiser in an effort to assist the needs of this amazing family. Unfortunately, GoFundMe is not directly available in Belize, making it challenging for the family to manage fundraising efforts themselves. All funds raised will be sent directly to the family to help cover these mounting medical and potential travel costs.

Let's continue to support Markitos and his loving family during this difficult time, through prayer, positive spirit, and any monetary means available.

The road to recovery for Marcos will likely be long, and the mounting medical expenses are a significant concern for his family. We have set a goal of $15,000 to directly support these costs, including his critical care, necessary treatments, and any potential rehabilitation. Your generous contribution, no matter the size, will directly ease this financial burden, allowing Marcos' family to focus entirely on his healing and bringing their bright light, Markitos, back home. Thank you for standing with us.
