On July 30th, 2025, our beloved father, Marcus Hytche, was rushed to the ICU at Hillcrest Hospital after experiencing multiple organ failures. When we arrived, we were devastated to learn that he had only 5% brain function and was suffering from liver, heart, and kidney failure. For days, we watched him fight for his life, holding on with everything he had despite the odds. The medical team did everything they could, and so did Marcus. He showed incredible strength throughout his battle, but sadly, on August 9th, 2025, at 4:57 PM, he passed away after fighting for nearly twenty minutes during his final moments.
Marcus was not just a patient in a hospital bed — he was a father, a grandfather, and a deeply loved member of our family. He leaves behind five living children and several grandchildren who adored him. He was the kind of man who could light up a room with his presence, who always had a story to tell or a word of advice to give. His absence has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled, and now we are faced with the heartbreaking task of laying him to rest with the dignity and love he deserves.
Unfortunately, we were not financially prepared for such a sudden and tragic loss. We are humbly asking for help to cover the afterlife expenses, including cremation, a memorial service, and a proper urn for his ashes. Anything you can contribute — whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply your thoughts and prayers — means more to our family than words can express. Every little bit helps as we try to honor Marcus’s life and say our final goodbyes in a meaningful way.
Thank you for your support during this incredibly difficult time.
With love and gratitude,
The Hytche family.
