Help Marcus Heal and Keep His Home

Hello!

My name is Marcus and I’m a 34-year-old bus driver. I have enjoyed my job and have worked more than 40 hours a week for over 5 years to support myself and my 21-year-old kitty cat.

I have recently hurt my back at work, leaving me debilitated and unable to walk or work. I have 3 bulging discs with one pushing on my nerve to my left leg causing complete numbness from the knee down, muscle spasms, and the feeling of nails stinging the bottom of my foot.

I am a prideful southern man, always pulling my own weight and working since I was 16 years old. It does not bring me joy to take handouts or beg, but here we are…

I have been out of work since 7/2 and I am fighting workers compensation who is refusing to pay. Any money donated will go directly to my bills, groceries, care for my senior kitty cat, helping me through treatment, surgery, recovery, and fighting my workers compensation battle.

I am at risk of losing everything since I have zero income and no ability to work due to my immobility. I have lost my livelihood although temporary, this could be devastating.
