Help Marcus financially recover from heart attack
Donation protected
Our friend, Marcus Schefer, suffered a heart attack this past Thursday. He was rushed to Swedish hospital in Edmonds where they did an emergency procedure to insert two stents into his Right Coronary Artery to clear a blockage. He will need one or two more stent insertion operations within the next few weeks.
Luckily this first procedure was performed immediately upon arriving to the ER, which saved his life. Everyone at Swedish was wonderful and we couldn’t stop thanking them. A huge Thank You to Dr. Burger and the ER staff!!!
He is now home and recuperating, but will need another stent in the next few weeks. Please keep him in your thoughts as it will be an emotional and a huge financial burden in the coming months. He will not be able to work for 4-6 weeks while he recovers.
Marcus quit touring in 2020 due to COVID when all concerts were canceled. He has been in the process of starting his own guitar repair shop, but now is not sure when he can return to that.
He also is the caretaker and provider for his elderly mother that has major lung issues.
Marcus has dedicated his life to helping other people.
First, serving 5 honorable years in the US Army as a communications specialist, doing many good will missions throughout Central and South America.
In the last 30 years Marcus has helped thousands of people to realize their musical dreams via his work as a touring guitar technician, and a sales/marketing/artist relations executive with some of the biggest guitar and amp companies in the world.
Please send healing thoughts/vibes, prayers, and what ever you are able to contribute to help out.
Your help is appreciated beyond words.
