Hi! I'm Marcus, and I am a journalist who plans to major in Political Science and minor in Journalism at University. I have been given the amazing opportunity to attend The School of The New York Times Summer Program. Unfortunately, the tuition is a bit beyond my family's wage. This would be a life changing opportunity for me and I would be devastated to miss out on attending this program. We are fundraising and looking under every stone to help me reach my goal. In the words of Bernie Sanders, "I am once again asking for your help". lolol. We believe our community can come together to help the underprivileged rise above their station and seize the opportunities that come so easily to others.
