I have been out of work since October 10th of 2025 because I was assaulted by a customer at work. The incident left me with major injuries, including eight fractured and broken teeth and a fractured jaw. Now, I require surgery to fix slipped disks on both sides of my jaw. While I do receive workers compensation, the amount isn’t enough to cover my bills, especially since my main source of income was tips, which aren’t counted toward the checks I receive.
